    Windows Server 2008 producing C++ Runtime Errors

      I'm using McAfee Total Protection (or SaaS Endpoint Protection as it seems to be known now) in our organisation. I can't guarantee that this is the cause of my problems, but all of a sudden, all my Windows Server 2008 machines are producing the following error on startup and when trying to lauch just about any program:

      Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

      Runtime Error

      Program C:...

      This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

      The only option is to click OK, at which point another window appears saying that XTray Application has stopped working.

      This is not affecting any Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2003 R2 machines -- only Windows Server 2008

      Any suggestions what may be causing it (and how to fix it)
