Should a password contain leading or trailing spaces work with SbAdmCl?

Are there any special characters that are not allowed in a password?  Specifically for this problem, is a leading or trailing "space" character supposed to be allowed in a password for an administrative user running the SbAdmCl.exe command?  I've tracked down an error happening when either a leading or a trailing space is in the password supplied to SbAdmCl.  The console allows me to specify a leading or trailing space as part of the password when I use the "Reset Token" option and uncheck the "Use default password" and "Force password change at next logon".  The password with trailing space is accepted by the webHelpdesk for login.  But I get an error from SbAdmCl.  Is there something special that needs to be done when passing a space character that I missed?

Captures of running the SbAdmCl command with a password of "abcd" set (works) and with a password of "abc " set (trailing space - fails) are below.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

***** Password "abcd" ***** works fine
