Trojans detected but no action taken

If anyone can help. The last time I scanned my computer it came up with 19 trojans detected but no harmful files?

If there are trojans on my computer shouldn't I get rid of them??? And How???

Nov 01/10  How do you delete trojans detected by McAfee Software????

I reinstalled McAfee suite and it seems to have fixed the problem

I got ahold of a tech on and did a frre virus scan on line. now original virus came back artemus! which is apart of the new technology of mcafee virus scanner so now what mcafee is detecting itself ! do you have a work around this ?
