    Virtual Technician Findings

      I reinstalled Virus Scan and 3 issues:

       

      1. Registry: %MVT-ENGINE%\mscan32.dll not found in registry

      2. Process:  Expected process not running: c:\program files\mcafee\virusscan\McShield.exe

      3. Service: Service State Incorrect: c:\program files\mcafee\virusscan\McShield.exe

       

      I would appreciate any help/guidance.

          Hi metrob,

          Could you please let us know the following details;

           

          If you are using the consumer version please let us know the following details ;

          What is the operating system of the computer ?
          How is your computer connected to internet ? (dsl/wireless/cable)
          Do you have any other security software installed in the computer ?
          What does the security center interface report - Am I protected YES or Your computer is secure (if  possible please attach a screen shot of your security center)
