    false positive - Artemis!4608EE40BF8A

      Hello,

I'm a developer of a group creating gametrainers. Unfortunately your current antivirus-signatures are rating our trainer false positive as a lot of users told us.

Please check our trainer from http://www.megadev.info/EN/Downloads-mdt-Downloads~MD~Trainers~MT~X-c-12.html (false positive will be found in MT-eXperience.exe located in this setup) and emend the signatures after it.

The concerned file is included in a zip-file with the password 'infected' in the attachment, too.

      Thanks and best regards

          Hi Michel,

          Filename: MT-eXperience.exe

          Detected as Artemis!4608EE40BF8A

          Identified: No Virus/Trojan

McAfee(R) Artemis technology provides real-time protection that secures enterprises and consumers from threats as they strike and much quicker than traditional signatures can be deployed. As Artemis is updated in real-time there is no requirement to wait for a full DAT update nor to use an EXTRA.DAT intermediate solution. Simply wait approximately 30 minutes and this false will no longer exist or trigger on your system. Depending on the network settings you have or the caching involved between your system and ours it may take slightly longer for this false alarm to be resolved.

In future, please send us a sample for analysis, in a password-protected ZIP file (password - infected) to virus_research@avertlabs.com
You can find detailed instructions for how to do this at <http://vil.mcafeesecurity.com/vil/submit-sample.aspx>

          Thanks & Regards
