Is this verion 6.7.2? And if so, if you try logging in a second time, does it work?
If this is the case, it is a bug in the way that the log is rolling at the end of every day. The log file is moved to a new name to be stored until cleanup, but a new one is not being created. This will cause the first user to log in for the day to fail, but all following attempts should work as normal.
