    Problem with Photoshop Elements Syncing

Photoshop has a automatic sync agent that will back up your photos online autmoatically once you upload them to photoshops elements on your computer.  After several days with Adobe photoshop help we finally find out what was causing their sync agent to not automatically back up my photos online from photoshop elements.  After turning off "real-time scanning" from my Mcafee home page the elements sync agent worked and my photos are now being backed up online.  I went back and enabled the "real-time scanning" and tried to upload new photos to my photoshop account and the sync to  my online account didn't work. (so i do know this is what is causing my photos not to be backed up automatically.)  I do not want to turn this off everytime I upload photos to Photoshop to ensure they are getting backed up on-line.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you in advance.
