-----SHOCKING SPELLING IN MY OTHER ONE !! --------
Routine update from BT, updating net protect + left both my laptop & desktop with serious problems.
New version on both machines has green tick and both appear to be protected. However, try & start any type of scan, quick, full or targeted and both machines bring up scan window at 0%, and never go beyond this point. Furthermore, PC/Laptop completely locks up and requires forced power down.
I'm not sure if they are even protected? (in spite of green tick)
Any ideas?? ....both machines?
I have Malware Bytes installed on both machines, full scan completed & nothing noxious found.
I've downloaded free AV software on both and no viruses prsent (now uninstalled)
I must have removed, incl McA cleaning program, several times & done clean re-load's from BT's site.
Poor guy in india must be pulling his hair out - at least he's honest and doesn't have a clue!
