if you install this package manually you will get the gui
if you send an install from epo you have the option to show or suppress the gui
I assume you must then mean if you deploy this package (framepkg.exe) via a third party tool?
what command line are you using to install the agent in this case...
I'm running the frame package manually on a system. Just double clicking the .exe file.
I reserve the right to be wrong, but my understanding is that when you run framepkg.exe in the context of the actual local system account it will always run silently.
You would need to specify a user account through the agent install package creation process in the ePO console to get the gui locally.
(That user account would need local admin rights on the host machine to be successful).

The package i built using my 4.0 epo server shows the install progress. weird.
thanks, that explains it. I like to see the progress when installing manually. But..not anymore.
