    Virtual Technician Not Working

      When I try to start MVT after initializing, it goes to "Updating"  After a short while I get a message "McAfee Virtual Technician could not check your computer.  Unable to get product data from the server.  Try again".  This occurred during a chat with a McAfee technician five days ago and he said that there was a problem with the McAfee server.  It's hard to believe that five days later McAfee hasn't fixed a server problem.  Is there some othe reason why MVT is not working

       

      I am using XP Pro Service Pack3
