Possible Artemis DivX and K-Lite false positives

    WSY

After scanning my Vista PC with Stinger version 10.1.0.1009 date Aug 19 2010 I got 4 (False) positives in DivX .dll files and in an K-Lite codec .dll.

      See listed below.

Internet connection is after uninstalling Mcafee Security Center and installing McAfee Internet Security extremely slow. The regular scan reported no vulnerabilities only Stinger reported this 4 positives (Sensitivity level "Very High)

So ingoring or removing the programs?

          Hi

We have whitelisted these files and it should no longer detects. As Artemis is updated in real-time there is no requirement to wait for a full DAT update nor to use an EXTRA.DAT intermediate solution. Simply wait approximately 30 minutes and this false will no longer exist or trigger on your system. Depending on the network settings you have or the caching involved between your system and ours it may take slightly longer for this false alarm to be resolved.

          Thanks
