This can be caused when files are left behind from the previous installation or when you run the McAfee Consumer Products Removal Tool (MCPR).
Right-click Start and select Explore.
Navigate to the appropriate location below:
Windows Vista and 7: C:\ProgramData\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
Locate and delete a file similar to this example: $McRebootA5E6DEAA56$.
NOTE: This filename varies, the numbers after $McReboot will be slightly different.
Reinstall your McAfee software.

Did you also run the Norton removal tool?
Yes I have removed Norton aswell using the tool, but still nothing. What's the cause of it?
If you have tried but not had any success with the recomendation from Dinz, I would suggest you contact McAfee Customer Support and they should be able to provide you information concerning activating your software from Sky broadband
