    VirusScan exclusions and wildcards

Just to be sure, I want to exclude all .log files in subdirectories of a certain folder.

Is it advised to define it like: C:\Directory1\Directory2\**\*.log

Or would it be be defined like:

      - C:\Directory1\Directory2\Folder1\*.log

      - C:\Directory1\Directory2\Folder2\*.log

      - and so on

--> will the first option work the same as the second? (just to be sure)

--> are there any performance or other reasons to choose one of both options?
