    Segregate Link and ISP's links.

    thiago

      Hi Peoples,

I have 2 questions about McAfee Firewall Enterprise 8.0, be are:

      1) The MFE has option to segregate the link (assuming the customer has only 01

Link 10mbps) dedicating such 2mpbs for VLAN A, et al 8mbps

to another VLAN B? And if that option exists in the case of VLAN A (with only

2mpbs) need + band, automatically use the 8mpbs of another VLAN?

      2) How many Internet links (ISPs) can configure in a firewall cluster active-active (Load Sharing)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

          Thiago,

          1) Unfortunately, the firewall cannot segregate bandwidth by VLAN tags.

          2) The firewall only supports one ISP, one default route.  You can configure an Alternate Default Route to take over if the regular one goes down.  The firewall doesn't do policy-based routing, if that's what you're getting at.
