Customer Service linked under Useful Links at the top of this page can tell you if your software is registered, but from what you say it already is and that technician was in error.
Also right-click the taskbar icon and select Verify Subscription, that basically double-checks it.
I indeed tried Verify Subscription too which merely said 'your subscription has been checked'.
Perhaps they were confused because I had two old subscription which only ran for a year and they were expired for more than 150 days. This current one I installed recently and runs for 2 more years. In my account these old subscriptions are still mentioned (can't remove them in the listing of all my old/current subscriptions).
I agree the account page can be very confusing. Customer Service (as distinct from Technical Support) are the only ones who can clear that up.
