Our company has a strict policy of not allowing people to have fun at work.
Accrodingly I have created a policy under the following tab in EPO4.5
VirusScan Enterprise 8.7.0 > Access Protection Policies > McAfee Default Custom > Access Protection > User Defined Rules > File / Folder Blocking Rule
I added the file extension below with wild cards and blocked them.
*.aac, *.aif, *.aiff, *.asf, *.asx, *.au, *.avi, *.flac, *.m3u, *.mid, *.midi, *.mov, *.mp1, *.mp2, *.mp3, *.mp4, *.mp5, *.mpa, *.mpe, *.mpeg, *.mpeg2, *.mpeg3, *.mpg, *.ogg, *.qt, *.qtw, *.ram, *.rm, *.rmi, *.rmvb, *.swf, *.vob, *.wav, *.wax, *.wma, *.wmv
Somehow it doesnt work. However, if I just keep in a simple *.mp3 it does work. Is there a limit to number of file types that can be added in a single rule.... or am I doing something wrong here.
Would appreciate some quick inputs.

you need to apply that on system tree and then edit assignment to change the default settings on your VSE 8.7i
