What is in new version McAfee Endpoint Encryption 5.2.5 ... ?

Hello McAfee Experts,

I have some questions.

We used EEM and EEforPC  5.2.4.

Last wee we updated EEM (to 5.2.5) and EEforPC (to 5.2.5) and I have seen in SafeBoot Client on PC new information:

"Checking pre-boot file system for errors."
What does it mean ?
We had more problems with *.FSB file (error e00500043, e00500045).

Maybe  this version will be better ?
Some CRC or only checkdisk FSB file ? :-)

We have English EE client but on Czech language OS.

There is problem with text code page :-(   (but for IT person doesn´t matter)

Do you have some new details ?

Thanks Michal

PS.
There is still old SafeBoot logo in Czech installation package.

Did you read product Release Notes?

I don't think that Czech preboot is fixed.

There are many places in EEPC that SafeBoot word is used. That's a legacy that will never go away... I guess.

As for other problem, please check KB article on USB handback workaround, available since 5.2.4 (or even 5.2.3), but automated for some BIOS vendors in EEPC 5.2.5. Maybe you still need manual setup via USB.ini.

Please post separate issues in separate threads. That is better for everyone.
