if you choose the "default and other types" then it opens up a box to insert additional types into, the same thing happens for specified types only
This is in default processes policy or high risk/low risk if you chose to split them
Is this configuration, you speak about, done in EPO console or are you talking about the client side?
I need to configure this on the EPO console policy.
Can you describe the path get to the console configuration area where I would set this up please? ie. where do I find "default and other types" ?
choose product " virusscan enterprise 8.7" from drop down
choose category " onm access default processes" from drop down
identify the policy you are using from the main screen area and choose to "edit settings"
make sure you have the right workstation/server setting in drop down box
choose "scan items" option from the bar
in the "file types to scan" section set what you want, as prev stated the additional option to insert only opens when you check the "default and additional" or "specified file types" option.
save and close
