    McAfee Virtual Technician Application has stopped working

      Hey All,


      I am trying to download and run MVT either by itself (http://mvt.mcafee.com) or via the Support Page, and here's what happens:


      - Every time I try to run MVT, it wants to download the .MSI (installer pkg) from scratch, which I would assume should not be necessary;

      - I click Yes to all the prompts for permission to Run the program and Change the computer, and then

      - A few moments after it starts scanning my system, the app quits and I receive the following Windows error prompt:


      McAfee Virtual Technician Application has stopped working

      I have uninstalled and reinstalled repeatedly - it doesn't help. I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks in advance.
