A few initial questions...
is this a fresh install or an upgrade?
is it a vanilla install or have you patched it... what versions have you installed?
are all the epo services running?
is the sql service running, do you have a connection to the db... also what sql config are you using version etc?
have you changed the db port if this was an upgrade?
are you getting a certificate error in ie?
what version of ie are you using and is this the ie on the epo server or from a remote pc?
- Yes its a fresh installation.
- ePo cersion 4.0 no patch
- I'm not sure if all ePO services are running because I cant see anything.
- Yes sql 2005 is running.
- No cert error on ie
- ie 7.0 and its on teh ePO server.
did you get any errors during the install, did you have to roll back at any point
using services.msc on the server you should check that the Mcafee Epolicy Orchestrator 4.0.0 event parser/server and application server services are started
have you rebooted since the install?
is the sql 2005 the express version or a real version? is it on the box or remote? is there any other sql running on the box
if the services are running can you get into the database config page https://<SERVER>:8443/core/config.
- No error message.
- Mcafee Epolicy Orchestrator 4.0.0 server is started.
- I have rebooted
- its real sql, installed on the box and no other version of sql
- I cannot get to the database config page
During installation I changed to port number because it could not go on port 80. Could that affect it?
