    Artimas and Alureon.h

Good afternoon.  After using STINGER, I got this report:

      C:\Program Files\Verizon\FiOS\ihs\ConnWizard\AutoIT\ClickSetupSNKPopUps.exe

           Found the Artemis!F36C9CED0412 trojan !!!

      C:\Program Files\Verizon\FiOS\ihs\ConnWizard\AutoIT\EmailCheckControlToClick.exe

           Found the Artemis!D5F0D933F542 trojan !!!

      C:\Program Files\Verizon\FiOS\ihs\ConnWizard\AutoIT\EmailCheckReceiveControlToClick.exe

           Found the Artemis!5C7B5815B507 trojan !!!

Using a microsoft scanner, I previously got a report that I have:  Virus:Win32/Alureon.H

the problem is manifested by unwanted ads, being directed to a page not requested and on one occasion a x-rated web site I could not get rie of without restarted the computer.

      How do I remove these?

      Thank

          Hi,

Is MS reporting the same files with the same paths as being infected?

Hi, I have the Alureon.h bug as well.  I have tried to remove it with McAfee Total Protection, PC Tool Spyware Doctor, Malwarebtes’Anti-Malware and a tool I downloaded from Microsoft  windows-kb890830-v3.8.exe.  None of these programs were able to remove Alureon.h.  Is there any program available to remove this virus or malware or whatever this thing is?

            Thank you for your assistance,
