    Patch 1 for VirusScan for Mac/Security for Mac is now available


      Please note that Patch 1 for:


      • VirusScan for Mac 9.0.0 (also known as Security for Mac-Anti-malware 1.0)
      • Security for Mac 1.0

      Has been made available. Patch 1 was posted on May 17th, 2010. These Patches address a number of issues with the Mac products mentioned above, including (but not limited to):


      • McAfee Agent versions 4.0 Patch 2 and 4.5 are not supported.
      • VMDK files are damaged if McAfee Security 1.0 is running and if you manually restart your Mac.
      • There is a delay in launching Microsoft Office application files if on-access scanning is enabled on your Mac.
      • McAfee Security 1.0 is uninstalled and re-installed at every ePolicy Orchestrator policy enforcement interval.
