    Possible False Positive - Artemis!45C55F39E79C

      Mcafee keeps deleting and blocking the GAME.exe of the MMORPG I play. Now I can't play because of it. Please fix it asap.

          Still no response. Please fix this asap McAfee. I just want to play the game again normally but it always delete the game.exe or the client. This didn't happen before. Now I need to turn off scanning just to log in the game but I don't want to risk the security for so long time so please fix it asap.

            Hi Enkore,

             

            Thank you for providing us the detection name of the file.

            We have examined the file in question and no malware was found.

             

            Artemis is updated in real-time there is no requirement to wait for a full DAT update nor to use an EXTRA.DAT intermediate solution. Simply wait approximately 30 minutes and this false will no longer exist or trigger on your system. Depending on the network settings you have or the caching involved between your system and ours it may take slightly longer for this false alarm to be resolved.
