PC not updating its DAT files

Hi all.  I have a problem PC that is refusing to update.  I have tried using the Auto Update feature inside the Virus Scan Console and it says it Failed in the status field.  I pulled the log up and there isnt much info there, but I will post it below.  This is a VSE 8.7i patch 2 PC managed by EPO 4.5 Patch 1.  Thanks in advance.

The steps I would try (in order):

          - Download the latest superdat, and run it with the /F switch.

          - Re-install the EPO Agent.

McScript.Log and agent_<computername>.log found in C:\users\All Users\McAfee\Common Framework\DB (Or c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\McAfee\Common Framework\DB (not 100% sure on this path) should provide more information about the update failure.

Thanks I will try those out and let you know.  I keep forgetting about those other log files.

            ***Edit

I found those logs and I wanted to post their contents while I am waiting on the DAT file to copy to the PC.  Slow link speeds to remote locations.  LOL  I havent seen these errors before.  I just copied the section of each that dealt with the update I attempted at 9:45 am.

I haven't seen those specific errors before, but they look nasty. I don't think the Superdat will fix the issue. I'd skip straight to re-installing the EPO Agent and if that doesn't resolve the issue try and re-install of VSE.

                Hi Kire98,

Did the re install solve the issue or you are still experiencing it ?

                Thank you

Thanks for checking on me Sameer.  You are going ot laugh, but the day after I posted this our desktop team replaced the PC because it was one of the few PCs still running Win2k.  So my problem was solved in a different manner.  LOL
