Can't you create distributed repositories? which is manageable the same way you manage master repository with fallback update location to Mcafee HTTP or FTP?
Or better yet, clustering is supported
Distributed repositories doesn't allow me to manage policies in a console failure event.
Cluster is a great for HA, but I'm looking for a DRP solution (a solution where I can get the console up and running on DC2 if DC1 goes down by some natural(or not) cause).
Although this is well documented on KB66616 article, I was wondering if anyone has already submited a FMR in order to allow the creation of a hot standby console as the MDR feature of network security manager.
ummm.... good to know.
by the way, I would like McAfee's ePO cluster supports Windows 2008 R2 style geographically disperesed cluster.
geographically disperesed cluster's support would be great
Did you find any solution for ePo Disaster Recovery? Even I am looking for it and infact contacted mcAfee but asusual nothign helpfull from them.
Just opened 2 FMR regarding this issue.
Disaster Recovery Plan - Geographically Dispersed Cluster - SN 2168 - Internal ID 17301
Disaster Recovery Plan - Hot standby console - SN 2170 - Internal ID 17305
I guess you could open a SR / contact your sales guy and tell him you are interested in this as well.
The more the merrier, i guess..
