What is your operating system and service pack? (Right-click Computer/My Computer and go to Properties to see that information)
What browser and version are you using? (Help/About)
What version of McAfee SecurityCenter is this? Double-click the taskbar icon to open it.
Then click About (lower right) or if the new 2010, click Navigation (top right) then click About at left.
Moved to SecurityCenter 10 - 2010.

Thanks for your assistance!
Open Internet Explorer and go to Help/About, what does it say there?
I think you maybe need to check for updates, using the Custom button and install all non critical ones as well as any critical ones using the Microsoft Updates method.
McAfee relies on an up to date browser.
Internet Explorer is set to automatically update however I did install all noncritical and critical ones manually and got the message "Security Update for Power Point Viewer 2003 (KB969615) not installed!
I'm sorry, but I'm not a "computer" person, so I hope this answers your question to me!!
Powerpoint Viewer is an optional download from Microsoft Office website, it's for when you don't have the full Office suite installed and want to view Powerpoint slideshow presentations (.ppt, .pps etc).. however perhaps you should go to Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs and uninstall 2003 as it's rather old.
Then go here and download the newer version: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=048dc840-14e1-467d-8dca -19d2a8fd7485&displaylang=en
That said I still need to know exactly what it says in the large print in Internet Explorer Help/About which looks something like this:
You should be using Internet Explorer 8 to be secure and this could be the cause of your problems.
If you don't already have it you can download it here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx
