    Failed Active Directory Synchronization

      Hello,

I work with ePO 4.5 and always done Active Directory Synchronization.

More or Less 2 weeks, Active Directory Synchronization start Failed.

In Server Task appear FAILED, and when I go see Subtasks, are some workstations and the Log is "Failed to authenticate with remote system, system error: The network path was not found.".

Does anyone know why this happens?

      Thank.

You shoulkd see the details for the Active Directory Sync task and see if there's a communications problem or authentication problem.

Have you changed the password for the user you use for AD sync?

The Log Message that appear in Active Directory Sync Task is:

4/5/10 4:45:36 PMStarted: Synchronizing all groups
            4/5/10 4:45:36 PMSynchronizing 69 synchronized groups
            4/5/10 4:45:52 PMStarted: Deploy Agents
            4/5/10 4:47:22 PMCompleted: 0
            4/5/10 4:47:22 PMFailed: 0
            4/5/10 4:47:22 PMExpired: 2
            4/5/10 4:47:22 PMFailed: Deploy Agents
            4/5/10 4:47:23 PMAD Sync (NT Domain/AD Synchronization)

In the Subtasks appear 2 Workstations with the log: "Failed to authenticate with remote system, system error: The network path was not found. "

And the password was not changed, is the same. And the user is the same.

Ok, so the sync task is working but the deployment task is not working because the epo server cannot resolve the names for the new computers added.

You should try to make a ping from the ePO server to one of these computers and see if it can resolve the IP address
