Yes, actually, this is exactly what I was getting ready to post. We have been having this trouble for a couple weeks now and normally I can log in and manually run the task, but that isnt working this morning.
4/4/10 4:59:47 PM Started: Pulling content from McAfeeHttp to Current branch 4/4/10 4:59:47 PM Repository Pull from site McAfeeHttp complete, 0 warnings, 1 errors 4/4/10 5:00:17 PM Schedule Pull (Daily Repository) (Failed to verify the file hash - click Repository Pull link for details)
I am receiving the same error, however it has not corrected itself yet. It appeared this weekend.
Which http site are you pulling from?
Also do you cache http at a proxy level?
I am pulling the repository from here --> update.nai.com/Products/CommonUpdater
I will have to check on the caching, but I think we do.
I am pulling from --> update.nai.com/Products/CommonUpdater2.
I need to check on http proxy/cache.
Thanks guys for the quick replies.
There are many reasons as to why the HTTP could fail and without looking at logs it's difficult to say for definite, however proxy caching can be the culprit.
shortym - can you clear your cache of anything update.nai.com related and let me know if the problem is still there?
Also - can you have a look in the epoapsrv log (or click the drilldown in the epo event) and see exactly which file is failing?
Not sure if this helps you isolate/solve the problem but I had the same problem this morning - updates failed all weekend. After deleting the DAT in 'current', and doing 3 manual pulls, it finally completed successfully.
I tried 3 times - 1. running pull from automation, 2. pull from Master repository - just DAT and 3. pull from Master repository - all. The third one, run at about 10:30am EDT, worked.
Not trying to hijack the thread, but this is what I got when I clicked on the error message I posted above. I replaced the hash values, becuase I dont know if there is any confidential information in there that could be decrypted. If you need them let me know.McAfeeHttp2010-04-04 17:00:16.98ERRORFailed to validate repository McAfeeHttp.
