I've never heard of that card - are you sure it's one of the supported ones?
Well the reader supports a few other types of cards but I would like to use the HID iClass card. http://www.hidglobal.com/partners/tabbedWithShowcase.php?pid=1 Just want to know if anyone uses the built in contactless reader on the dells or if its possible. I cant find out the manufacturer of the reader itself so not sure what driver to use for EEM.
if it's a HID card, then no, neither the reader or the cards are supported. They probably could be if Dell can provide the right drivers etc, but it would be a custom project - best bet if this is really interesting for you is to contact your account manager and get a professional services project rolling.
How about any of these:?
NXP DESFire® (13.56 MHz)
NXP MIFARE® (13.56 MHz)
Sony Felica® (13.56 MHz)
ISO14443 Type A/B (13.56 MHz)
ISO15693 (13.56 MHz)
They also work with the dell reader.
only smart cards are supported, no prox cards.
