Well hate to say it, but these queries will most likely need to be recreated.
There is a way to set all queries in the DB to the default admin user and/or to a NULL status, but I would rather not put this information into the forum. Too many people might abuse it, or break there conosles.
Not so easy - I've tried to recreate queries or creating them from scratch.
Some of them (in the same area) works some of them are not...
I've checked and rights to SQL tables are set properly.
I'm expecting that internal logic of ePO prevent me from obtaining results.
I'm global admin - I've even tried to create another account with Global Admin rights to check if problem was not caused by wrong rights migration...
Need a bit more information,
So what products are the reports failing with (VSE, HIPS, GSE, Foundstone, PA, etc)?
Does it only happen with one or two Product Codes?
Can you get an export of the following SQL table...
Select * from OrionQuery
Order by Userid
I've got result - but it contains some data I wish not publish.
There are two possibilities I can deliver them to you direclty, or please let me know what should I look for.
The error message "You are not authorized to view this dashboard element"" means that the user account you are logged in does not have sufficient permissions on the product which the query is written for. So for example, if the dashboard pointed to a VSE query, chances are the user does not have the correct permissions for VSE.. Try this..
Go to Menu|User Management|Permission sets
Verify that the account you log-in with has the correct permissions the product in question. Unfortunately I dont have my ePO console up in front of me to take a screen shot and show you..
Hope that helps.
quotation from my earlier post:
I'm global admin - I've even tried to create another account with Global Admin rights...
Should be an answer. Are any account with rights higher than GA ???
The "You are not authorized to view this dashboard element" error message can be a bit misleading - I have seen situations where this message is displayed but the underlying cause has nothing to do with permissions
Do you have a case open with Support for this issue, and if so, have we got a copy of your database?
