"Total Protection Service company key is invalid."

Hi ladies/guys,

I have McAfee Total Protection Service (product version patch 002, firewall version

Installed one year ago.

Previous week I saw a message on my desktop computer:

mcafee total protection service 4.5.PNG

What does it mean? I have checked helpfile, this icon also means:

"Your service subsription is expired. Contact your administrator."

I think helpfile is very correct, but why there is "invalid" message?

Who is right? "invalid" or "expired"?

This means that your subscription has expired and hasnt been renewed yet.

    Please call up McAfee at 1 800 338 8754 Opt 4 .

Please get your renewed and then update, you should not have the issue any more.

The 'Invalid' error refers to the fact that the key is invalid for the current time period. Admittedly it is a technical approach and may just as well have read "Expired".
