I'm trying to resolve an issue on a laptop running Windows 7 and McAfee Enterprise. The laptop is joined to a domain and has McAfee agent installed.
After every agent-initiated update, McAfee says that the Host Intrusion Prevention has been updated and the pc needs to be restarted. This prompt does not go away even after several restarts. What could be the problem?
OS: Windows 7 Enterprise
McAfee Agent version 188.8.131.520
Host Intrustion Prevention 184.108.40.2060
Enterprise + Antispyware Enterprise 8.7i (220.127.116.11)

This issue has disappeared apparently on its own. No more restart prompts.
