I tried to restore system to the earlier points and it failed. Could Artemis! be a reason?

Thanks for reply. I followed the instruction on how to submit a sample, and did not find anything suspicious in HKEY or win.ini, system.ini. I ran McAfee full scan one more time and it did not catch anything. Does it mean the threat is gone? The only problem I have now is that system restore doesn't work properly.
