    Removal tool?

      Hi

I have McAfee from ATT.com on two computers and did not get around to updating to the 3rd and it is now infected with a ** that controls the IE and overrides any url with awreremoval... I cant get to any other url to get help from att to remove/clean

Some reason the att.com antivirus was turned off

Is there any way to download or use a tool from this computer to wash the other?

      Thanks,

          Hi,

If your system is infected with this Trojan, your web browser and other Internet applications will be unable to access the intended website, and are instead redirected to unwanted websites or receive a page cannot be displayed error.

          1. Download the Stinger tool from the link below:

            http://download.nai.com/products/mcafee-avert/stinger.exe

          2. Double-click Stinger and select Preferences.
          3. Enable the Report Applications option.
          4. Click OK.
          5. Click Scan Now and allow the scan to complete.

NOTE: During the scan, you may receive a clean error during on certain .cab files. Ignore the error and allow the scan to complete. The files will be removed when the system is restarted.

          6. Restart your computer.
          7. Run Stinger again using the steps above.

          Regards,
