Have you any programmes similarly named installed? When I Google the name it comes up with only vague suggestions.
Any clues in the Event Viewer?
Please include the following information:
What is your operating system, service pack and are you up to date with Microsoft update? There are two ways of checking this. Go to Start/Run and type in winver then click the Enter key. Or, right-click My Computer in the Start Menu or on your desktop (or Computer in Vista) and select Properties. Post what it says. What McAfee products do you have? Right-click the taskbar icon and select Open SecurityCenter and then click "View Details" or "About" at the lower right of the new window. Post the details from each module.
Thanks for your help. I've done what you say and the result is:
Windows 2000 Version 5.0 (Build 2195: Service Pack 4)
and as for McAfee products:
Security Center Version 9.15 updated Dec.3, 2009
Viruscan 13.15 last update: 6 Dec.2009
Thanks...no clues in Event Viewer (asuming Win 2K has one) or the Program list?
No clues, no.
No big deal though. The message appears upon starting the PC, that's all, doesn't seem to do anything or stop anything from working correctly. Thanks for the help.
What you could do is download Hijackthis and post its log along with your "symptoms" on one of the following forums. They will analyse it and hopefully let you know what it is as I haven't a clue, sorry!
Do not post the log here, we can't help!
Post the logs at a specialist Forum:
