VNC deleted despite adding as exception

      Hi all,

I'm having a strange problem.  I have added a few Unwanted Program Exclusions to the Unwanted Programs Policy to prevent remote admin tools (VNC) from being deleted.  I have added, RemAdm-TightVNC, RemAdm-VNC, RemAdm-VNCView (we use a few flavours of VNC) and also unchecked the category of Remote Administration Tools to ensure VNC is preserved on my workstations.  This works 99% of the time.  There are some cases when I push out the McAfee Agent 4.0 to a machine, and VNC will be deleted right away.  Out of every 200 PCs, about 8 will have this problem.  I'm wondering if perhaps VSE 8.7 starts searching for unwanted programs before it gets the policy to exclude VNC?  This policy has worked perfectly on other ePO servers I've administered.  This is the first time I've encountered this inconsistency, and restoring the .exe's isn't too big a deal for the small number of machines affected, but I'd rather not have to worry about it.  Any thoughts?

      Thanks,

      Mike
