    VirusScan task does not terminate ...

      Hi All , we are currently having and issue with VirusScan 8.5 where we have setup a policy to start a full ODS scan on all server at 12am and also stated that if the scan runs for longer than 6 hours , it should terminate. Now we have 2 Altiris server which are having the issue where the scan does not terminate and the server performance is affected during business hours.

       

      Can anyone assist and shed any light on this ?

       

      VirusScan 8.5 patch 8 + AS

      Scan Engine 5400.1158

      deployed from ePO 4.5

       

      OS on server :

      Windows server 2003 SP2
