    Security Center pop up

McAfee Security Center keeps popping up every five minutes.

It doesn't cause any problems other than being annoying.

      Any suggestions?

There is no error message.  It's the Security Center window.  Just as if I opened McAfee and wanted to check firewall settings or start a scan.

I did get an "updates are ready" message last night.  I installed the updates and thought that my solve the problem.

As I'm writing this Security Center just popped up.   Like I said, there is no problem to be fixed.  It just starts automaticaly.

              Hi,
Run mcafee virtual technician from the following link http://mvt.mcafee.com and post me with the session id , so that i can review the report and update you on the same.

                  Hi,

Check and delete if you have any other security programs in add/remove programs (or) C:/program files and common files .

Click start - run - then type services.msc  = you will be in the services local window ; check whether the start up type for all mcafee services says "Automatic" ; if not double click on the service and change it to automatic.

Click "recovery" tab (at the top) and change all three failures to restart the service.

close all open programs and restart the computer.

Check for updates in security center  and let me know if you have any issues.

                  Thanks,

                  Dinesh K
