Repair the registry with chkreg.exe on an encrypted drive

Windows 2000 and XP machines sometimes run in to a "system CED" registry corrupt message. We used to be able to run the Microsoft chkreg.exe utility to repair these machines. With SafeBoot loaded, this is no longer an option.

      ChkReg.exe download: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=56D3C201-2C68-4DE8-9229 -CA494362419C&displaylang=en

The Microsoft utility makes a bootable recovery console ISO. Is there any way to integrate EndPoint Encryption drivers in to something like this? This is a tool our support staff uses frequently and losing this tool will force us to reimage many machines we normally could have repaired.

Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
