    Microsoft Announces 6 new bulletins covering 15 new vulnerabilities for Patch Tuesday

      Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) has announced that they will be releasing 6 new bulletins including 3 critical and 3 important ones covering 15 new security vulnerabilities in Microsoft products.The advance bulletin notice also indicates that there are 3 critical and 1 important rated bulletins for Microsoft Windows products and 2 Important rated ones for Microsoft Office products.


      Compared to October's humoungous release there seems to be far fewer releases this month.


      The blog also indicates that "Customers should plan a restart for the Windows bulletins. The Office bulletins may not require a restart if the components being updated are not in use". I have included the links to the MS sites for further reference.
