Uninstalling McAfee Anti-Theft removes the application, but leaves behind configuration information which prevents the application from being removed completely, which affects future installations of Anti-Theft. Moreover you should not have any issue in installing McAfee suite because of antitheft traces.Kindly report back with the error message while installing McAfee .
well, there is no such way as i am facing the same problem right now....but luckily i found a solution....there is only one way to delete a vault....follow the instructions carefully....
STEP 1-open anti-theft file protection .
STEP 2-there will be a vault which you want to remove....
STEP 3-*LOCK THE FOLDER/VAULT*
STEP 4-RIGHT CLICK ON IT
Step 5-and there will be delete option there!!!!
NOTE-only works when folder is locked.
skillerx, this thread is 3 years old, things change!
As the software talked about in this thread, Anti-Theft, is obsolete, I'm locking this thread.
Anyone new with a Vaults issue should be posting in the File Lock forum.
To remove vaults once you've uninstalled McAfee use the Uninstaller tool, or call Technical Support directly, it's free of charge and linked below.
