Whether or not you use Internet Explorer do the following....
If you are using or have installed IE8 beta get rid of it as it is the usual cause of this. (The final version is available and works fine).
If you are using IE6 for to Tools/Internet Options
Set all zones under the Security tab to default
Turn off the Content Advisor under the Content tab (if not off already)
Set the Advanced tab to default.
Apply and OK and close the browser.
If you are using IE7 or IE8 final version go to Tools/Internet Options/Advanced and click Reset. Apply and OK. Close and reopen the browser. Re-enable all add-ons under Tools/Manage Add-Ons.
If you have any other protection software please say so as that can be a cause also.
Because I didn't knew were it was. But now what I get is an error saying :
An unexpected error has occured.
The registration process has experienced an unexpected server access error. You will be automatically prompted to register once again when a product update is available.
Got any idea ?

That looks to me like the servers are having problems again. Just wait until it prompts you again, as it states there.

im trying to intall my mcafee but when the mcafee intaller pops up is asking me for my email adress and my password and when i write them down its telling me is incorrect
