nope, the connector has nothing to do with it - it's all handled by the Windows Logon options, using a GINA shim on XP and below, and a Credential Provider for Vista plus.
Thank you very much! Is there any whitepaper or so, where I can get a little more information about this?
nothing comes to mind - it's probably in the chapter on Windows Logon/sso in you EEPC admin guide though.
I'm sensing a theme here (per my previous post about passwords not sync'ing). We NEED a flowchart or descriptive whitepaper to help your CUSTOMERS understand how passwords are attempted to "sync".
Please add this to any requests for change in product documentation in the next rev please!!
mjpottratz, this is a community forum, not an official route to McAfee support - if you want to submit an FMR, you need to do it though your account manager, or McAfee representative, or through some official McAfee process. This forum is just people helping people unofficially.
So discoveries/customer experience/issues from this unofficial route to McAfee support on mcafee.com's official website have no bearing/input on the product itself... ok
Duly noted, thanks
correct. I only know of a couple of McAfee people who monitor this forum. It's run by the community for the community.
I could get kicked off tomorrow if the moderators wanted to.
