    total protection vista

      i keep getting an alert no anti virus and no firewall from hp total care. but when i check my macfee total protection it says everything is ok i ran virtual techination it also says everything is ok.

          As far McAfee says its fully protected we don’t have to worry about that. However, we can try below workaround to check and see whether we are able to fix this:

          1. Click Start, type cmd in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER
          2. At the command prompt, type the following commands. Pressing ENTER after each command line:
          winmgmt /verifyrepository
          winmgmt /salvagerepository

          Note: There should be a space between the winmgmt and the forward slash [/].
          3. Restart the computer and check the status
