    Update Advice 5.2 and B5701 ?

We are currently using build B5500 version 5.1.7 and make use of Endpoint encryption for PC and windows mobile.
I have held off upgrading until seeing what version 6 had to offer. We have now made the decision to go with the latest version of 5 .

I am a little confused by the release of 5.2 in separate components (Manager and PC) and whether i need to install B5701 then 5.2 manager and then 5.2 PC to get all the product updates and still retain the functionality for both PC and windows mobile.

We also use a customised theme (just background pic and layout), do custom themes need any updating?

      Thanks

Having run a test upgrade from B5500 straight to 5.2 (no install of B5701), About show Endpoint Encryption manager v5.2.0.9 Build B5500 and the following module versions

          PdaServerAdmin.dll, 5, 1, 7, 0,
          SbAdmin.exe, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbAdminLib.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SBADMINRECOVERY.DLL, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbAlgs\SBALG.DLL, 4, 2, 11, 0,
          SbComms.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          sbdbmgr.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbFileAdmin.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbFileDB.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbFileObj.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbGroupAdmin.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbGroupObj.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbHashesAdmin.DLL, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbHashesObj.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbMachineAdmin.dll, 5, 2, 0,
          SbMachineObj.dll, 5, 2, 0, 11,
          SbServer.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbUILib.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbUserAdmin.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbUserObj.dll, 5, 2, 0, 9,
          SbWMobileAdmin.dll, 5, 1, 7, 0,
          SbWMobileObj.dll, 5, 1, 7, 0,

This to me indicates that the Windows Mobile component hasn't been updated.

Guess this means i need to install B5701 first?

Probably not. I guess there were no updates to apply to the windows mobile components. They have not changed in terms of functionality for a long time...
