Well, it doesn't exactly freeze but it appears that the scan takes over the machine and it is very hard to do anything. It is even hard to open the task manager. I have mostly observed (suffered) this behavior when the scheduled scan suddenly starts running. I have even had to turn off the machine by pushing the ON button for a few seconds (I don't like to have to do that).

I don't know why it says I have 2GB physical memory. I just installed two Dimms of 500MB each for a total of 1GB. Increasing physical memory did not seem to improve things.

I also tried to set the scan process to lower priority in task manager but it didn't let me.
