What is your operating system and service pack? 32 or 64-bit? Have you cleaned out your temporary files and defragged since reinstalling the system and are you totally up to date with critical and non-critical updates from Microsoft?
Also have you installed necessary add-ons such as Flash, Java etc?
Try running the Virtual Technician in my signature, post back what it says.
As an afterthought you may want to do the following too.
Make sure you are infection-free.

I tried to install Virt. Tech. but it came back with, "Can't find McAfee products on your system."
I didn't personally replace the hard drive; I paid some to do it. I didn't defrag; I did tun Microsoft update, though. I didn't install Flash or Java; I did install SuperAnti.., but I haven't run it yet.
OK install Java and Flash...from the links I gave and also give me details oif your operatinf system and service pack please.
Right-click "My Computer" ("Computer" in Vista) and select Properties and post what it says.
Or go to Start/Run and type in winver then click the Enter key and post what that says.

Sounds good. Are you tring to install online or from a CD? Try online if the latter.
If you are McAfee direct customer, go to https://home.mcafee.com/Secure/Protected/Login.aspx and log in to download your McAfee products.
If you received your McAfee products from your service provider, please use the list below to download your software.
Comcast users should go to http://security.comcast.net/ and log in to download your software.
DELL users should go to https://us.mcafee.com/root/login.asp?affid=105 and log in to download your software.
Gateway users should go to https://us.mcafee.com/root/login.asp?affid=370 and log in to download your software.

Try saving the "DMSETUP" to your desktop first and then double-click that to start the process. If you have a slow connection that may be hampering this try installing one component at a time starting with Firewll, by using the Customize option when you see the selection.

SuperAnti...found some spyware; when I installed Java it killed the windows virus scan, which I just restarted. I never expected the reload of McAfee's to be so complicated.
