Problems in installing internet security 2009 from  CD.

Please move this if it is in the wrong section of the forum.

I am trying to install Mcafee internet security 2009 from a recently purchased cd.

It won't install, giving me the error message that I do not have enough memory.

I have windows xp with a service patch of 3.
I updated my Firefox to the most recent version.

I checked the box before I purchased it to make sure it was compatible with my computer.

I uninstalled my previous version of McAfee thinking that may have been the problem,
as I couldn't install McAfee from a cd the last time I did it, the virtual technician helped me the last time.

      It isn't working.

I've been reading through the forum to see if I may have missed something that would pertain to this issue.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you in advance.
