the ini is within each file group, each of which is in a separate directory in your admin system.
You should only really need the client files though - everything else is chrome.
I've loaded the following groups from the post-upgrade program directory (not the install set).
EEPC51 LANG: English ....
EEPC51 OPTION: Exclude Sector ...
EEPC51 OPTION: Tests for Computrace ..
EEPC51 OPTION: Update MBR ...
EEPC51 OPTION: Update number of sides ...
EEPC51 OPTION: WACOM Active ...
is there anything I might have missed? I don't have the issue documented in KB65785, the 5.1.9 client file group seems to have created OK
encryption for files and folders works fine
an online or offline install makes no difference
you need the client files of course.. wink
The groups allocated to the client are:
EEPC51 LANG: English ...
EEPC51 OPTION: Exclude Sector...
EEPC51 OPTION: Tests for Computrace..
EEPC51 OPTION: Update MBR...
EEPC51 OPTION: Update number of sides...
EEPC51 OPTION: WACOM Active ..
EEPC51 Theme 212: Theme212...
EEPC51 Theme 213: Theme213...
EEPC51: Endpoint Encryption 5.1.9 Client Files
FE5100: File Encryptor...
Have I missed something off the list that should be there?
did you have the compatibility groups ticked originally though? (computrace, update MBR, Sides) etc, and do you indeed have TabletPCs?
It's the update of the file groups that's to blame.
Went through the following steps:
1. Update the file groups listed above
2. Stop/Start the database server
3. sbsetup -uninstall on the client machine
4. Online install of the client
and voila! one client synchronised and doing it's thing :)
now I can go back and remove the unnecessary groups.
Now, bizarrely, when I go to install another (identical!) client I get the same message again. Off to check if reloading/refreshing all the file groups sorts it again, in which case the puzzle is how did they change.
you changed them when you did update file groups?
If I was you I'd create a NEW client file group and start from there - it seems there's something extra (or missing) in the default one.
