We had this same issue if under the general tabe Always enable pre-boot USB support (auto otherwise) was checked. Unchecking this option seemed to fix this issue.
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately mine was already unchecked when the problem started.
If you are using controlled groups: Create a seperate group, copying the group that the machine is in currently. Move the machine to this new group and test it by toggling it the opposite to what you currently have.
If using uncontrolled groups, then change the option on just the one machine record and see if it helps....
